America s Founding Fathers Trying With The American...

This paper will discuss what I believe America’s founding fathers tried to accomplish with the â€Å"American Experience†. This experience gives an understanding of America in the 20th century and the accomplishments in the 21st century. Let’s first look at the word federalism. Federalism has a major role in what our founding fathers tried to accomplish. It is â€Å"based on the concept of shared power between units of governments†. These units are defined in the United States Constitution; representing the national and the federal government and not forgetting the fifty state governments. In 2008, before being elected, our 44th President of the United States of America, Barak Obama campaigned â€Å"Change We Can Believe In†. I believe our†¦show more content†¦This system soon began to crumble because the weight became too heavy so then there was the â€Å"Crumble cake†. Our founding fathers had a vision that they can make America a better country through federalism. According to Joel 2:28 (NLT) â€Å"Then after doing all those things, I will pour out my Spirit upon all people. Your sons and daughters will prophecy. Your old men will dream dreams, and your young men will see visions†. I believe their sole purpose was to practice effective management. They tried a system that would benefit the people in their local cities. Systems are used to be effective. When it’s not effective one might ask, what did I do wrong? What did I miss? In some cities there are City Managers that actually understand the needs of the people and the vision comes through clear as the day. Staunton was the birthplace of the City Manager form of government. In the beginning, the new approach to government made it hard for some changes to exist, example street names. However, Staunton became very prosperous, many cities today use the same government struc ture. Not in the case of John Dillon of the Irish Parliamentary Party. He struggled to secure â€Å"Home Rule Kindness†. John Dillon was dedicated to what he believe was beneficial for the people of Ireland.
